Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Buenos Aires on Tuesday, to demand a raise in salaries.
The protesters marched on the the Ministry of Labour where the Minimum Wage Council was due to take place. Hundreds of protesters have been camping outside the Ministry since the previous night.
Mirroring a demonstration in March, workers again called on the government to implement the Social Emergency Law. The Law was due to allocate AR $30 billion (1.8 billion EUR) worth of funds to social programmes and welfare benefits, however President Mauricio Macri's administration sanctioned the law in March, three months after it was approved in Congress.
The demonstration was organised by a number of organisation including local movement Clasista, and Combativa Current and Barrios de Pie.
