SOT, Tayseer Abu Sneineh, Mayor of Hebron (Arabic): "After 26 years of this massacre, its results are still on the ground, because the massacre is part of the policy of the Israeli occupation, and there can be no occupation without massacres. Its results will remain on the ground until this Israeli occupation is removed from the ground by the Palestinian people insisting on their rights."

Clashes broke out between Israeli security forces and Palestinian demonstrators as they rallied to commemorate the victims of the 1994 Hebron Mosque massacre in the West Bank city of Hebron, on Friday.
"After 26 years of this massacre, its results are still on the ground, because the massacre is part of the policy of the Israeli occupation, and there can be no occupation without massacres," Tayseer Abu Sneineh the mayor of Hebron said.
He added, "Its results will remain on the ground until this Israeli occupation is removed from the ground by the Palestinian people insisting on their rights."
Protesters could be seeing attempting to force open the gate blocking Shuhada street, which has been largely closed to Palestinians since the massacre took place in 1994.
The Ibrahimi Mosque massacre saw American-Israeli settler Baruch Goldstein murder 29 Palestinians at Hebron's Ibrahimi Mosque on February 25, 1994.
