Thousands took part into a mass rally in Pyongyang, Sunday, marking the 67th anniversary of the Korean War, which also takes place during the 'Struggle Against US Imperialism' month.
Citizens clad in simple khaki or white shirts gathered at the capital's Kim II-sung Square and paraded through the city's streets holding banners, national flags, and raising their fists to anti-US chants.
The Korean War, also dubbed as the "Forgotten War" in the US, lasted for three years, spanning from 1950 till 1953. During the conflict the Korean peninsula was divided into North and South. The first found an ally in China, the latter in the US. More than a million people died on each of both sides.
