Climate activists dressed as fruit danced their troubles away in London on Saturday. The activists, who reportedly belonged to Animal Rebellion, called for the transitioning to a "plant-based food system" in a bid "to end the climate crisis."
Mr Broccoli, who is also known as Broccoli Man, joined the demonstration, saying, "Until the government and the media take us seriously, take this issue seriously, we'll continue to rebel."
"I am promoting a plant-based food system and highlighting the government and media inaction on climate change," added the climate activist.
The identity of the Animal Rebellion activist, Mr Broccoli, has been revealed following his arrest at a recent Extinction Rebellion protest in London. The activist has been unmasked as a 46-year-old carpenter from Bristol.
