Despite Pope's Call To Arms, Vatican 'May' Consider Divestment From Fossil Fuels

A Catholic church official has said the Vatican may consider, but is not committed to, divesting its holdings in fossil fuels--despite Pope Francis’s call for bold action to fight climate change and global warming.
The statement was made at a press conference on Wednesday to discuss the Pope’s recently released encyclical on the environment. Eastern Orthodox Metropolitan John Zizioulas said he was impressed by the encyclical's theological depth.
