Reception centres hosting refugees will be set-up in Greece and Italy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said as she addressed an event of the Young Union of Germany (the youth branch of the CDU/CSU parties) in Hamburg, Friday. Merkel also criticised the Dublin Regulation, calling on the the need for Europe to agree on an improved legal system. "It depends on us to set standards," Merkel said, adding that every human being should be treated with "dignity." Officially, German authorities are expecting an estimated 800,000 refugees in 2015. However, a seperate report suggests up to 1.5 million refugees and migrants could enter German territory in 2015 alone.
