A house burned to the ground after it was hit by a shell in the village of Oktyabrsky, near Donetsk, Monday. There were no victims in the attack, as the house was unoccupied at the time of the shelling, according to the Head of the local Kuibyshev District, Ivan Prikhodko. The village is in close proximity to the embattled Donetsk International Airport, and has often been caught in the cross-fire between pro-Kiev and anti-Kiev forces. The conflict in eastern Ukraine has flared up over the past month, with several instances of Minsk ceasefire violations reported in and around Donetsk and the strategic city of Gorlovka. According to OSCE observers, the Minsk agreements have continuously been violated, particularly in the area surrounding Donetsk airport. The latest figures released by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights indicate that the death toll in the country now stands at over 6,400.
