UNICEF delivered more than 16 tons of medical and other supplies to Sanaa, Friday after Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen went into their third week. It is hoped that the supplies will help up to 80,000 civilians and children who find themselves caught up in the conflict. The World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Friday that at least 643 people have died so far but it is feared by many that the actual figure is much higher. Over 2,000 people have also been injured and it is estimated that tens of thousands have been displaced since the Saudi-led airstrikes began on 26 March. The Saudi-Arabian government says it is carrying out the airstrikes in order to attack Houthi militias and reinstate the government of ousted President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who has fled to Saudi-Arabia.
