The Moscow City Court on Tuesday extended the house arrest of the Khachaturyan sisters, who are charged of murdering their father, for three months.
According to the court’s press office, the sisters are prohibited from leaving their places of residence at night, communicating with anyone other than the investigators and close relatives, of using the Internet or any mobile communication, and of communicating with each other.
The sisters are suspected to have stabbed their 57-year-old father Mikhail Khachaturyan to death in a Moscow apartment on July 27, 2018.
The teenage girls reportedly confessed to committing the crime “over moral suffering" the father had caused them over the years.
