UAE: Russia brings new missile defence systems to Dubai Air Show 2019

We also brought real aircraft, we brought a jet trainer and fighter Yak-130, it's going to fly today at 15:00, and two new helicopters - Mi-38, VIP salon and light Ansat. They are also here and are going to fly today."

Russia brought new aircraft as well as new missile defence systems to Dubai Air Show 2019, as Viktor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation and Regional Policy of the State Corporation Rostec said in Dubai on Sunday.
"There's a very big interest in Russian aircraft in this region. A huge interest in our systems is due to the successful use of forces the Syria campaign and growing tension in the region. So [there is interest] in aircraft and missile defence systems. There is an interest, there are contracts, there are clients and there are buyers. There is also an industrial partnership, where possible," added Kladov.
The Dubai Air Show 2019 kicked off on Sunday at Dubai World Central. Some 1,300 companies from 160 countries take part in the event.
