Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron pledged support to Ukraine and slammed the ongoing "Russian-backed aggression" in the country at the GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum in Bratislava, Friday. Russia is attempting to "redraw Europe's borders and sewing fear amongst those people and nations that dwell on Russia's periphery," he added. Cameron also spoke of how he thinks that Russia's request to be "understood and not condemned" is "profoundly wrong," refuting the idea of pulling back sanctions. "We are clear - Crimea and the Donbass are part of the territory of Ukraine. They were recognised as this by Russia and by the rest of the international community. What Russia has done and continues to do is in breach of its own obligations under international law," he stated.
