An Afghan family with a two-month old baby were left stranded in Gyor's train station on Thursday night after Hungarian police removed them from a train bound for Munich earlier in the day. The family had fled Afghanistan and walked over 100 kilometres (62 miles) across several countries before arriving in Hungary earlier in 2015. In an attempt to reach Germany they bought train tickets in Budapest on Thursday and boarded a train for Munich. Hungarian police were waiting near the Austrian border and stopped the train, removing a number of refugees and placing them under surveillance in Gyor station overnight. Voicing his distress with the situation, the father of the baby said "Afghanistan is better than here, we want to leave here. We are just alive here. We are not living, we are just alive." The Hungarian Parliament is currently working on new regulations to deal with the flow of refugees entering the country which include building a wall along its border with Serbia. The new regulations will be in place by September 15, as confirmed by the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The number of migrants entering Europe is at record levels, with 107,500 displaced people arriving in the month of July alone.
