Danish Liberal Leader Needs Populist Support to Form Minority Cabinet

Denmark's Royal Palace says the leader of Denmark's center-right Liberals will present a new small, minority government with his party alone but backed by a parliamentary majority.
The palace says Lars Loekke Rasmussen on Sunday will present his new government, whose survival relies on the populist, anti-immigrant Danish People's Party, which came second in the June 18 elections, and two other parties.
The four parties in the center-right bloc won 51.5 percent of the vote and picked Loekke Rasmussen to form a government although his party only grabbed 19.5 percent.
