2012-2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS Recalled For Faulty Tail Lights

Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling more than 30,000 late-model vehicles from its CLS line.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, some of those vehicles may suffer from a software glitch that could increase their chances of being involved in a collision.
The glitch prevents the rear side tail lights on the CLS from illuminating. As a result, it may be harder for drivers of other vehicles to see the CLS when approaching from the rear or side.
CLS models included in the recall are: 2012 to 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63, 2012 to 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550, and the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS 400.
The recall affects a total 30,141 vehicles registered in the U.S. with over 1,000 still in showrooms.
Mercedes-Benz has issued a stop-sale until they're repaired.
