Dropbox Update Makes it Easier to Get Files From People Without Accounts

Dropbox just made it a lot easier for people without accounts to share files through its service.
The file storage service rolled out a new tool Wednesday, called file request, which makes it easier for users to ask for specific types of files from individuals and groups, regardless of whether they have a Dropbox account.
In addition to making sharing documents, photos and other files more seamless, Dropbox product lead ChenLi Wang said the feature could stand to get more users on its service who may otherwise not be likely to join a cloud storage service.
