A refugee shelter burnt down in the town of Freimar in Thuringia during the early hours of Sunday. The 10 asylum seekers living in the building were forced to evacuate and have been transferred to temporary accommodation by local authorities. Local police announced that there were no injuries. Local police have yet to release a statement regarding the reasons of the fire. However, it is reported that the fire began in close proximity to emergency toilets close to the building.
