Bolivia: Eduardo Galeano's death mourned by President Morales

Bolivian President Evo Morales expressed his condolences shortly after Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano had passed away, at a press conference in Santa Cruz on Monday. Morales praised Galeano as one of the world's "most important personalities", "a master in the decolonisation and the liberation of our people in the world." Eduardo Galiano died at the age of 74 in the city of Montevideo, Monday. He was perhaps best known for his book Open Veins of Latin America which was translated into 20 languages.
