UK: Shop that lets you legally buy stolen goods opens in London

A pop-up shop selling exclusivley stolen goods opened its doors in Shoreditch, east London, Friday.
The shop was created by London insurance firm 'Back Me Up' and aims to raise awareness of the types of items that are most frequntley stolen such as laptops and jewellery. According to one of the shop's sales assistants Ashley Daly, "November is a peak month for theft claims and so we want to raise awareness and increase peoples’ sort of vigilance against theft crime".
At the store, customers are able to pick up bargains for slashed prices such as a Rockhopper bike, which normally retails at £450.00 (€500.00, $560.00) for £250.00 (€280.00, $310.00).
The items were sourced from police auctions, and the money raised from them will go towards the Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Shelter charities.
