Russian President Vladimir Putin paid special attention to the life of sea creatures at the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Geographical Society in St. Petersburg on Monday, saying “to see what happens in nature is very useful."
Putin was joking that this could prove to be valuable information since “We have to watch out so that no one could eat us, to look around."
Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko were also present at the meeting.
