Статуя на Путин като римски император

A bronze bust of Vladimir Putin, depicting the Russian president as a Roman emperor, was in its final stage of creation in St. Petersburg, Tuesday. The man behind the bust, Pavel Greshnikov, said that whilst there was already a Russian emperor in Peter the Great, he wanted to create a Roman inspired bust of Putin because "Roman armour looks masculine, in my opinion. And Moscow is the Third Rome." Currently, Greshnikov is finishing the cast in his studio in the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. The monument is to be unveiled before May 9 as part of the Victory Day celebrations.
