Visitors were seen gathering near Area 51, the secretive US Air Force base in Nevada on Friday for a range of events under the banner 'Storm Area 51' including a music festival.
"I think they don't want us humans to have any contact, 'cause I don't think. They don't think we are ready for them, that's what I think, but I'm fully embracing contact with them," said one alien enthusiast.
"I've never been here before. I've always wanted to come and being from the Midwest we don't get to do crazy stuff like this. So we wanna be part of the first storm for the Area 51", said Tiffany, another visitor.
A Facebook event, called 'Storm Area 51', went viral with over two million people clicking 'attending'. Its creator later claimed it was a joke.
