9 British Medical Students Feared to Be in ISIS-controlled Syria Territory

Nine British medical students are believed to have crossed the border from Turkey into Syria to provide help in ISIS -controlled territory. The group of five men and four women, who are all in their late teens or early 20s and have Sudanese roots, kept their plans secret from their families. A Turkish opposition lawmaker said Sunday he is helping their family members, some of whom are at the Turkey-Syria border trying to find the students. Earlier this month, after three British teenagers were arrested, they returned to the UK and were released on bail after attempting to reach Syria.
