Sharks and Giant Turtle Heading for Britain With Rising Temperature

Basking sharks and the world’s largest sea turtle, tempted by warm weather, will swim up the English Channel this bank holiday weekend, experts predict. Peter Richardson, of the Marine Conservation Society, said they were expecting a bonanza crop of jellyfish this summer, after reports have started flooding in of dozens of sightings across the south coast.The jellyfish are expected to attract 8ft leatherback turtles and basking sharks to the shores.
