Germany: Economy Minister joins steelworkers at march for jobs in Duisburg

Thousands of steelworkers marched through Duisburg, Monday, demanding that their jobs at the local ThyssenKrupp plant be protected. At least 10,000 workers are though to have taken part in the march.
They protested against what they see as the dumping of Chinese steel imports in the European market and the the threat of possible industry takeovers to the jobs.
The ThyssenKrupp management also supported the protest, at which Economy Minister of Germany Sigmar Gabriel voiced his support for the steelworkers during a speech.
