USA: Meeting reacts in shock to news of Oregon occupation shooting

Footage, recorded on Tuesday, shows the moment a community meeting in John Day found out about the fatal shooting of Oregon militia spokesperson Robert 'Lavoy' Finicum.
The 55-year-old was reportedly killed in a shootout with federal officers after being stopped on a rural road - along with fellow militia leader Ammon Bundy and four other men, one of whom was injured in the firefight. The group were part of the militiamen that have occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters since in the beginning of the year.
According to Tad Houtt, the organiser of the event in John Day, the group were on their way to speak to at the meeting when the incident occurred. Houtt told the crowd "it seems there was an altercation between here and Burns." The news prompted an angry reaction from those present, with some blaming the incident on the local sheriff's department for the shooting.
The armed protest group, referring to themselves as 'Citizens for Constitutional Freedom,' seized the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters, located around 50 miles (80 kilometres) from Burns on January 2, after two of its members were scheduled to go to prison for setting fire to federal government land.
