Several hundred protesters gathered in front of Washington University, where presidential nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were taking part in their second televised debate in St Louis, Missouri, Sunday.
Demonstrators from various activist and political groups protested against hate and racism, as well as calling for a increase in the minimum wage. They held banners reading, "Stop police killing" and "You can't fix stupid but you can vote it out." The protests went by peacefully and no incidents were reported by police.
The second presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and her Republican rival Donald Trump, took place at Washington University's Athletics Complex in St. Louis on Sunday. The debate lasted 90 minutes, with half of the questions asked directly by audience members and the other half posed by the moderator.
