A close air-support aircraft and scores of soldiers took part in the NATO Saber Strike-2015 drills at the Adazi base close to Riga, around 200 km (124 miles) from the Russian border, Thursday. The Saber Strike-2015 drills take place from 1 to 26 June on the territory of the three Baltic states and Poland, with over 1,000 foreign soldiers taking part. The drills bring together land and air armed forces from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, the USA, Great Britain, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Norway and Canada.
