At least 63 Palestinians were injured by live bullets and rubber-coated rounds fired by Israeli forces, during the weekly 'Great March of Return' protests at the Gaza Strip border on Friday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
A child and two journalists were also reportedly among the injured. Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated on the ground.
Footage from the protest shows people throwing rocks and smoke bombs at Israeli forces.
The Great March of Return protests started in March 2018, as a protest campaign which calls for the Palestinian people's right to return to their homes lost to Israeli forces in 1948.
