Israel: Right-wingers rally for release of IDF soldier who shot dead Palestinian

Hundreds of protesters rallied outside Kastina military court on Tuesday, demanding the release of the IDF solider who is currently being held on suspicion of murdering a defenceless Palestinian in Hebron.
Waving Israeli flags, the protesters called on the Israeli government to release the solider, who they claim was "protecting" Israelis. According to the judge, Lieutenant Colonel Ronen Shor, the soldier will be held in custody for at least two more days.
The 19-year-old soldier, identified on social media as Elor Azraya, shot the Palestinain victim in the head after he had been wounded following and alleged knife attack in the West Bank city of Hebron on March 24.
The encounter was caught on camera by an activist from the Israeli human rights group "B'Tselem" (Emad abu-Shamsiyah).
