The disassembly of a Ural Airlines plane of the flight U6178, which carried out emergency landing in a cornfield on August 15, started near Zhukovsky airport on Friday.
Engines, seats, wings and operational equipment were removed, with some of the plane's parts being loaded into a truck.
The Ural Airlines plane was en-route to Simferopol from Moscow with 233 people onboard when its engines malfunctioned due to a flock of birds being ingested by the turbines, according to Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency.
The pilots managed to successfully land the plane in a cornfield, saving the lives of all the passengers.
All passengers and seven crew members survived the rough landing, although 55 people were injured, according to Russia's Ministry of Health.
