The Institute of Biomedical Problems held an eight-day, all female, lunar circumnavigation simulation mission in Moscow, Thursday, simulating an eight-day, round trip lunar orbit featuring a return to Earth. All the eight participants of the "Moon-2015" mission simulation were women from very strong scientific, medical or research backgrounds, with many having previously worked in space or aviation medicine spheres, working closely with cosmonauts before or after returning from missions to the International Space Station (ISS). Schastlivtseva Daria, a participant in the training programme, spoke on the duties of the mission saying that "the main thing here is the space orientation, special intelligence. You should understand that you do not control the spacecraft, but you control yourself. These hafts are moving you inside your spacecraft."
