Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk addressed the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Global Forum in Washington DC, Monday, telling his audience that Ukraine was facing “real war with Russia”. Addressing hundreds of attendees at the annual event, Yatsenyuk railed at perceived Russian aggression, saying that Ukraine had “succeeded in deterring Russian military.” He added that Kiev would go on to take control of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk Peoples’ Republics, as well as Crimea. The Ukrainian Prime Minister was speaking on the second day of the tree-day event, which concluded with a World Leaders Plenary, featuring video addresses from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
