Subscribers of the Charleston Post Courier were outraged to find a sticker advertising a local gun range on the front of their morning paper above a story on the church shooting that killed 9 in Charleston.
Subscribers called the ad "insensitive."The paper has apologized in a response to a message left on its Facebook page highlighting the ad.
The paper described the front page ad attached to some home delivery newspapers as a deeply regrettable coincidence and apologized to those offended.
