organizing this exhibition." “Don’t mess with our freedom of speech,” Dutch Party for Freedom leader Geert Wilders said at an event organised by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, Sunday, shortly before two armed suspects were shot and killed outside the premises in Garland, Texas. The two suspects reportedly drove up to the entrance of the Curtis Culwell Center, where the event was taking place, and opened fire, injuring an unarmed security officer in his leg. Police officers who were helping with security at the event reportedly fired back, killing both suspects. Civilians have been evacuated from the premises as police determine if the suspects' car contains any explosive devices. The Curtis Culwell Center was hosting the first annual 'Muhammed Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest,' offering a $10,000 (€8,936) prize for the "best" cartoon of the Prophet.
