Co-founder and President of Cognitive Technologies Olga Uskova spoke about a joint project with Kamaz in developing unmanned vehicles in Moscow, Friday. "Today, one of the most promising and groundbreaking projects of our company are unmanned transport systems – a project realised on the territory of Russia," she explained. With the leading Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz, Cognitive Technologies have developed a truck that "can think, can recognize roads, can observe pedestrians and hindrances in the real Russian weather conditions – in snow and rain, Uskova said. "The project is already at the stage of field tests and we are very proud of it. In comparison with developments of some international companies we believe that we have a leading position on several technical questions," she added. Moreover, together with two other Russian partners, Cognitive Technologies is working on the integration of unmanned technologies in agriculture. "One of the most promising projects nowadays is agricultural robotisation. And in this sphere we have two very important partners – one of them is a tractor and combined producer and another one is a ground owner. We are planning to build experimental farms - completely automatically operated," she said.
