Germany: Anti-fascist demo blocks PEGIDA offshoot march

An anti-immigration demonstration was held in the town of Eisenberg in South East Germany on Monday. Around 50 members of the 'Thudiga' movement - an offshoot of PEGIDA - gathered to give speeches and march through the town. Hundreds of anti-fascist, anti-Nazi, and 'refugees welcome' demonstrators created road blockades at all roads to prevent the Thugida march from passing through the town. The event marks the second of its kind in the small town, both of which have been free of violence.
