Germany: CeBIT 2017 will be 'proof' of strong Japan-Germany ties - JETRO

More than 30 technology companies presented their latest digital solutions and innovations at 2017 CeBIT preview, in Hannover, Wednesday.
Japan is set to be a Partner Country in this year's CeBIT fair, with the Japanese pavilion constituting some "7200 square metres [77500 square feet]," which, according to Japanese Ambassador to Germany, Takeshi Yagi would be "the largest one in the history of CeBIT."
Several Japanese and German companies, which were in attendance of the CeBIT preview, expressed their interest in expanding into new markets. Director-General of the Japan's External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Hitoshi Masuda, noted that "CeBIT will be an essential proof of a strong and reliable Japan-Germany relationship."
CeBIT is one of the world's largest tech trade fairs held annually in Hanover. CeBIT 2017, organised by Deutsche Messe AG, will open its doors to public on March 20-24.
