Tracy Morgan to Make First TV Appearance Since Car Crash

Tracy Morgan is heading to the Today show on June 1. The actor, joined by his lawyer, Benedict Morelli, will give his first TV interview to Today's Matt Lauer since sustaining critical injuries in a car crash last year. Morgan and some friends were in a limo van on a New Jersey highway last June when they were slammed by a Wal-Mart truck. Comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair was killed, while Morgan "suffered head trauma, a broken leg and broken ribs." Morgan's lawyer previously said his client sustained a "severe brain injury." The actor was slated to attend the 40th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live earlier this year, but was ultimately unable due to his injuries. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin paid tribute to him during the during the special.
