Egypt: International investigators survey Sinai crash site

French and German specialists from various investigation commissions, including Airbus, arrived at the crash site at Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on Monday. The investigators arrived on board an Egyptian military transport Mil Mi-8 helicopter, together with Egyptian investigation committee for air crashes. Russian EMERCOM units have been assisting the Egyptian authorities at the site. Luggage and belongings to the deceased has been collected and loaded onto a container. They will be transported to Cairo airport and then to St Petersburg. A Russian passenger jet flying from Sharm el-Sheikh broke into pieces in mid-air over Sinai peninsula, 23 minutes after take-off, on Saturday morning. The crash killed all 224 people that were on board.
