Welcome to Australia, the Dumb Nanny State, According to Canadian Tyler Brûlé

Speaking at a Vivid Festival event in Sydney on Monday, magazine founder Tyler Brûlé dished up a cold, hard serving of truth for the people of Sydney, where there are laws surrounding most daily tasks, including the drinking and dining. The man behind Monocle magazine, which publishes a list of liveable cities, is lauded by some as an expert on urban design.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald he said,"This country is on the verge of becoming the world's dumbest nation. There will be a collapse of commonsense here if health and safety wins out on every single discussion." Tyler went on to say, "People think it's a little bit nuts here."
