Wikleaks Reveal Sony CEO Tried To Recruit Jay Carney

The hacked Sony emails posted by Wikileaks revealed that CEO of Sony Entertainment Michael Lynton made a strong effort to hire former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.
In mid-June, the Sony CEO called senior adviser to the President, Valerie Jarrett, to ask for an introduction to Carney, who was reportedly being courted by companies like Uber and Apple. Jarrett connected the two men via email.
Over the course of the summer, Lynton wrote several emails to Carney in which he expressed interest in hiring Carney to Sony's communications team.
Carney expressed interest in the position with reluctance about leaving Washington because of his wife and children.
The last correspondence between Carney and Lynton is from September, at which point Carney had joined CNN as a contributor. It's not clear where the discussions went after the point.
In February, Carney was hired by Amazon as senior vice president for Worldwide Corporate Affairs.
