Up to 100 radical Zionists gathered outside the Palestinian Mission in West London on Tuesday, in protest against the recent stabbings in Israel. Their protest was met with a counter-demonstration of up 200 pro-Palestinian activists. Despite tensions running high, a large police presence kept the two protests apart. Zionist Yaacov Benjamin Ben-arieh Hakohen said "we'll never have peace with these savages; we've got to make them submit to us." Adding his support for Israeli military action, he stated "I'm ready to go back to war." Pro-Palestine protester Afif Safieh addressed the crowd, condemning Israel as an "apartheid state that is there to eliminate the existence of the Palestinian people." At least 29 Palestinians - including 8 children - have been killed since the start of October, with more than 1,300 left injured, according to Palestinian Authority health ministry data. In the same period, seven Israelis have been killed and 67 injured.
