Greece Delays €300m Payment to IMF

Athens said it would be bundling four debt payments due to the IMF into one on June 30.
Countries are only supposed to bundle up their debts if they face administrative problems from making multiple payments. Greece’s decision not to pay on time provides an insight into the country’s desperate financial position.
IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said, “The Greek authorities have informed the fund today that they plan to bundle the country’s four June payments into one, which is now due on 30 June."
