Испания одобри постоянната американска база в Севиля

The Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria told a press conference in Madrid, Friday, that Spain had approved an agreement allowing the United States to establish a permanent military base in the south of Spain for deployment on missions to Africa. The deal approved by the Spanish Cabinet allows for up to 3,000 US troops and 40 aircraft to be stationed at the Moron de la Frontera military base in the southern province of Seville. A smaller force of 850 troops and 14 aircraft has already been allowed at the Moron de la Frontera base since April 2013, following an attack on the US consulate in Benghazi in 2012. The Spanish Deputy Prime Minister stated that the deal also authorises a "permanent deployment of a rapid reaction force at the airbase".
