German Chancellor Angela Merkel was repeatedly heckled by members of Die Linke during a speech she gave on Greece at the Bundestag, Thursday morning. Saying the troubled southern European country has received five years of "unprecedented" European solidarity, Merkel was met with vocal opposition by members of the democratic socialist group. The German leader went on to accuse the current Syriza-led Greek leadership of delaying necessary reforms previously agreed to by the liberal-conservative New Democracy. However, she expressed hope that Athens will reach an agreement with the so-called troika (the European Commission, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund).
