Apple CEO Tim Cook: Same-sex Marriage Decision is 'victory for Equality, Perseverance and Love'

Tech leaders in Silicon Valley are speaking out about the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that says same-sex marriage is "the law of the land."
One of the first reactions came from Tim Cook. The Apple CEO, who is gay, has long been a public champion of human rights.
In 2013, Cook wrote an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal about LGBT workers' rights. And last July, he marched with other Apple employees at San Francisco's Pride march.
