Russia: Tsipras meets Medvedev, praises Greek-Russian "brotherhood"

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that a new push was required in order to nurture existing ties of "friendship and brotherhood" between Greece and Russia, during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev in Moscow on Thursday. Tsipras said that Wednesday's meeting with President Vladimir Putin had breathed new life into relations between Athens and Moscow. Medvedev stressed that aside from political relations Greece was "a very important and prospective [economic] partner of ours."
