A tiger cub named 'Sherkhan' played with his new friend, a ferret named 'Rokki,' in Shkotovo, Primorski Territory, on Sunday.
The cub is the son of the tiger 'Amur' who hit headlines after he made friends with a goat, 'Timur,' at the Primorski Safari Park in November 2015.
Sherkhan was born on September 18 and taken into in-house care due to his weak physical condition.
According to Vasilina Tataurova, who is a veterinarian at the Primorski Safari Park, "now he [the cub] is in good health and is active."
The veterinarian noted that "as a predator, he displays particular activity while eating. You cannot come to him when he is eating, especially if it is a meat bone or a rabbit's foot. You cannot take it away from him because he starts pouncing to defend his so-called prey." She added that the cub "even tries to fight the ferret because he [the ferret] is impudent and tries to take his food."
According to Tataurova, since the cub is already in a healthy condition, he "will stay here for one more month before moving to the park and joining the other tigers."
