Mexico: Protesters attack army barracks demanding justice for missing students

Protesters attacked military facilities with stones and Molotov cocktails in Chilpancingo in the State of Guerrero on Tuesday, demanding action to find the 43 victims of the mass kidnapping in 2014 on the eve of the four-year anniversary since their disappearance.
Students from Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers’ College also marched through Chilpancingo to call for justice.
Students were also need painting graffiti on the walls and outside offices of the Guerrero State Government.
Forty-three students from Ayotzinapa went missing on 26 September 2014 after being detained by police in Iguala, a city in the state of Guerrero.
On December 6, 2014, the first of the missing students, Alexander Mora Venancio, was confirmed dead by forensic specialists at the University of Innsbruck.
Thousands have protested since, calling for justice and the safe return of the missing students.
