Russia: Celebrate Putin's 64th birthday with his best moments of 2015-2016

As Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrates his 64th birthday on Friday, archive footage shows the Russian leader's best moments of the past year from 2015-2016.
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was born in Leningrad, today Saint Petersburg, in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1952. After graduating from Leningrad State University's Law Department, Putin joined the KGB in 1975 and was stationed in Dresden, East Germany from 1985 until 1990. He resigned from the intelligence services in 1991, following a political career in Saint Petersburg and Moscow.
Putin's first premiership came on August 9, 1999. On December 31, former President Boris Yeltsin resigned and Putin became his successor according to the Russian constitution. He served two presidential terms before becoming Prime Minister again in 2008. Vladimir Putin's third presidential term began in 2012, after winning more than two thirds of the votes in the presidential election.
